I just checked the rules and there are no written restrictions on how many cases the host can buy for their break. I think it would not be a wise move to limit the number of cases broken. After all they sell more that way.
I do think though that with that many case they would probably allow only that one break to happen, and once completed he could do more, but that's only an assumption at this point.
