I finally bit the bullet and went for the 07 Sterling the LCS had. I opened the first box and opened the mystery pack to reveal a gold Mantle #3/9!
of course I then saw that the box was Bonds
. I opened it with the hope of an autograph but 4-jersey #7/10. Just like any addict I figured the next box would be better. I opened the mystery pack - Manny #3/50 but saw that the box was ROGER MARIS!
I did not open it. I am definitely in the hole on the Bonds box. The Mantle goes for around $50. The question is what do I do with the Maris box. Boxes have sold for around $225. I saw someone had a 1/1 auto of his from 07 Sterling. Are there any chances of pulling anything or should I just sell it sealed? From reading earlier posts this box did not feel any heavier than the Bonds.
