It is more like a team draft. You draft a card or a slot before the draft. Whatever gets pulled of that card is yours. If you pick something like the USA redemptions, you get any that are pulled in that particular case.
Auto cards are separate from non-auto. The Hosmer auto will go early, but so will his non-auto.
