My LCS does this. 15% off supplies and 50%
off all non-consigned singles. The membership costs $10 a year, so it creates incentive for customers to come back to get their money's worth. If you buy $20 in singles it "pays for itself".
A few other items:
- Make sure the place is well stocked with a large variety of low-end and high-end wax and singles.
- Offer small discounts on wax with regular customers.
- Greet every person who walks in the door.
