I agree with this. Have a bunch of skills competitions and lets fans vote on who they think should go. Those player will get a vacation in Hawaii, it still brings in tourism, there will still be people who want to watch and everyone wins.

The main game is really a joke and should have been killed off years ago. At least a skills competition is interesting.

I think the players want the pro bowl around as well because it might be tied to contract bonus money for incentives as well. They can still have a vote for the all-pro teams, just don't play the damn game.
