Ouch. fitch123 bringing the zingers tonight! Thanks for posting those other links! It is really interesting to see how our aesthetic sensibilities have changed since 1888, not only in what we deem as beautiful but also in the style of dress and even in our choice of given names. In my opinion, Topps has done a pretty good job of maintaining fidelity to the original Allen & Ginter cards through the look, feel, and general spirit of their products. And maybe this is what makes it so interesting to see exactly how much has really changed in all that time.
