If as a seller you have a quality combined policy you will get a lot of additional business from me. Whenever I win a card from a seller who charges nothing additional I scroll through all his listings and bid on things I normally wouldn't. That is the BEST business practice on a seller's part.
Even better, with the way things are on eBay, offering Free Shipping on everything is a simpler way to avoid issues over cost and DSRs. The cost, I would estimate over the whole, cancels out with higher bids on listings with free shipping. It's about the perception with free shipping for buyers.
