Exactly...it'll help that the contracts of Hafner and Sizemore should gone; that's around $18 million of payroll lifted from worthless players. Use that money, develop prospects, and see where it goes.
On the subject of Alomar, I'd love to see him manage the Indians AAA team in Columbus and bring Sarbaugh up to coach in Cleveland. Alomar has about six days of managing experience at any level.
