Well, this is pretty awesome, thanks for the opportunity and good on you for spreading the wealth. I'm just sitting here listening to the Rolling Stones new greatest hits album, so far it's pretty good. I've recently come to the conclusion that I am tired of my daily routine. I've only said this once, simply because I am not too big of a fan of flaunting it around and frankly I don't think it's that big of a deal, but I am in fact a wheelchair. I'm 24 years old and I am fully dependent on my caregivers on a daily basis, unfortunately they are my parents.
Ever since I was 17 years old I've kicked around the idea of writing a book. For the most part, it is my belief that disabled people are portrayed terribly in mainstream media. I am not a fan of inspiration porn
. As a matter of fact, I think it is terrible and objectifying. The main theme of my book would center around what it's like to actually be disabled and the hardships we have to put up with daily. unfortunately, I feel as if I knew the only person that I would find something like that interesting. Nevertheless, I think I'm going to do it. stay tuned, I might even update the thread with my first chapter (if anyone is interested in it..........).
Hey, I'm Kyle from Central California, I collect Doug Baldwin and, Brad Miller. I am currently looking for a Brad Miller purple autograph to finish off my rainbow, if you have one please send me a message, or if you know someone who does, forward them to me. Thanks!
