I've been playing first base for about 15 years and have tried almost every glove out there, and I keep going back to Rawlings.
I'm not sure what kind of outfield gloves are at the top of the market, really depends on the individual feel of each glove. But I'd buy Rawlings and Wilson well ahead of SSK. Definitely personal preference, though.

not a big fan of wilson but have always used rawlings. only other glove I liked that I used forever was an older mizuno I used through little league. not really a fan of newer mizuno gloves though
