The long-delayed Upper Deck Prominent Cuts
product which is now arriving in hobby shops has nearly all of its autographs certified by PSA/DNA.
More than 7,500 signatures will be found in the release, which includes signatures from athletes in several sports as well as historic figures, and there will be a Prominent Cuts category created in the popular PSA/DNA Autograph Set Registry.
“The signatures in this extensive autograph collection series include some of the greatest entertainers, athletes and historical figures of the 20th century, and each was certified genuine by PSA/DNA,” said Joe Orlando,
President of PSA/DNA. “The Upper Deck Prominent Cuts is an exciting product that will give collectors an easy opportunity to own an assortment of great signatures, all with the assurance of PSA/DNA authentication.”
Each pack will include a cut signature, an autograph or a celebrity memorabilia card of top entertainers, athletes and historical figures. Autographs will be found two per box, cut signatures will be one per box and memorabilia cards will be two per box. In addition, there will be autographs from MMA stars.
The standard set consists of 60 cards, while the autograph inserts will include MMA Signatures. The memorabilia cards focus on Hollywood History. Cut signatures will be found as Prominent Cuts singles as well as duals and quads.
As part of Upper Deck and PSA’s partnership, some buyers may find coupons from PSA/DNA in the Prominent Cuts boxes that are good for either one free submission for certification and grading of a card or autograph valued at less than $500, or to get a sixth item authenticated and graded free when five others are submitted at the same time.
