Alberto Tirado c/o Bluefield Blue Jays in 8 days
After a great pro debut last year at age 17, Tirado was ranked the Jays' #15 prospect entering the 2013 season. He has been excellent in his 5 games with short season Bluefield, with a 0.98 ERA and 17 strikeouts over 18.1 innings so far.
Eduardo Rodriguez c/o Bowie Baysox in 10 days
Excellent return from the Orioles #3 prospect!!! He has had a great season, earning a promotion to AA Bowie after crafting a 2.85 ERA over 85.1 innings in high A Frederick. A picture was recently posted on twitter of Rodriguez holding his Superfractor Auto, signaling his presence in 2013 Bowman Chrome!
Lance McCullers Jr. c/o Quad Cities River Bandits in 13 days
Another great return from a top prospect. McCullers Jr. wields an electric fastball that sits in the 94-96 mph range (wow) but can reach triple digits. He has had a magnificent season, hurling 83.2 innings and punching out 95 on his way to a 3.01 ERA!!
Luigi Rodriguez c/o Carolina Mudcats in 12 days
Awesome auto from the toolsy Dominican speedster. His 2013 has been riddled with injury, though he has impressed in his 56 games so far.
Nathan Karns c/o Harrisburg Senators in 12 days
Karns was ranked the Nats' #6 prospect entering this season after a ridiculous year last year in Hagerstown and Potomac. He struck out 148 batters over 116 innings with a glittering 2.17 ERA. He made his big league debut earlier this year, starting three games for the Nationals.
Brett Gerritse c/o Charleston RiverDogs in 17 days
Nice return from the Yanks' long relief prospect. He has punched out an impressive 65 over 57 innings of work this year.
Daniel Fields c/o Erie SeaWolves in 17 days
Great return from Daniel Fields, the Tigers' #7 prospect and son of former Tigers' OF Bruce Fields. He can fill up the stat sheet in a number of ways with his many tools, and could make it to Detroit (where he grew up) very soon.
Harold Martinez c/o Clearwater Threshers in 15 days
Nice return from the versatile 2011 draftee who can play anywhere in the infield.
