Aaahhh, video games! Now you're talking my language. My actual job at Topps is in licensing and so what I do is find partners to make other products. So I made things like the comic book, the toys and even the Stan Lee card happen.
And video games is HIGH on my list.
The issue is that licensed video games are dying, unless you're big brand like Marvel, Star Wars, Transformers, etc.
I'm focusing my efforts instead on mobile and social games, which are far less expensive to produce (yet still upwards of a million in development costs). They're also a lot more likely to be successful too, because these categories are on the rise and growing with consumers, rather than the decline like console games.
Patzee, as for the 1962 buybacks, I believe we ARE stamping them.
