Beats me. It shouldn't be though. There should always be some mechanism where COMC users can perform minor tasks which improve the site. COMC's customers are very enthusiastic and should be used as a resource.
My understanding is, long term, this could ultimately lead to some sort of checklist software program. You download it on to your computer. You enter in all of the cards you have and want. Then, in real time, it tells you which cards on your wantlist are available on COMC for how much money, or which cards you own would sell for how much if they were listed on COMC. Then it would be relatively easy to use COMC to fill your wants, or to submit items to COMC which are actually worth submitting to COMC.
Seems like it could be adjusted for some future practical applications, such as checklisting uncataloged or vintage sets, or describing cards attributes. (not just so-called "sorting" of sets already checklisted)
