Panini Signs Peyton Manning

Trading card company Panini has signed Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning to an exclusive deal, which gives the company the rights to use the four-time league MVP's game-used memorabilia and autographs on its cards and his image on its packaging.
Manning will first be featured on boxes of NFL Adrenalyn, the interactive trading card game that will hit stores nationwide next week.
Panini competes with Topps in the NFL card category and Panini America CEO Mark Warsop said that signing Manning can drive sales.
"Having a guy like Peyton on our NFL products and putting him side by side on a shelf next to Kobe Bryant for our basketball products raises the visibility of Panini and excites kids and collectors," Warsop said.
Panini has the exclusive license to make NBA cards and last year signed Bryant to an exclusive memorabilia trading card deal.
