Believe it or not, I have only had 1 card damaged and I send them all out without toploaders. I have had 2 cards that were damaged in toploaders (the card slid halfway out and then got creased. I also have had 2 toploaders signed on the toploader... soon as the 2nd one happened I stopped sending them in toploaders. Also, the USPS machine rollers can bend the toploaders and they can get smashed and caught. The card itself can easily bend through the rollers without any damage. Just my .02
