Quick question, 2012 Tribute is showing as going live on March 7th. Are we going to count that as the February break and then do something else later in the month or are we going to pick a different product for February.

If it does in fact arrive in March, then we'll just end up doing 2 March breaks.

Thinking of that, we need to set up a tentative schedule.

Here's whats up:

Feb - 2012 Tribute
Mar - 2012 Heritage?
Apr - 6 boxes of 2012 Museum Collection? 1 case of 2012 Gypsy Queen? or a mix of both?
May - 2012 Bowman Jumbo case or Topps Archives or a mix of both?

The above is based on Blowout's schedule listed on the presell items. I don't mind busting a case with lots of base to sort, but I don't think too many people would be happy just receiving a bunch of Heritage base. Let's hear some thoughts/ideas and we can possibly break something from another year to fill in the boring product months.

January payment sent Tyler, thanks!

I've got a SurveyMonkey account if you want me to send out a survey to folks about the break schedule.

Alright, the case is set to arrive on Friday. How does everyone feel about a Friday night break? I'm thinking 5PM PST. If that doesn't work, we can do Saturday at 12:30PM.

I'm a fan of all of those ideas except for the Heritage in March. Did we want to break something every month, or potentially save up for a big break in April?

I'm not a big fan of breaking Heritage in a club like this either. $45 for base cards? No thanks. We need a 75% majority to agree to skip a month of breaking and still pay dues. That's only happened once, but it's open to be voted on. We can always break an older product too.

I vote against Heritage for March, I would say to skip March so that we can save up but I know that is an unpopular choice.

How about we take advantage of the Super Bowl Promotion Blowout is running? We can get a nice case/half case for cheap which will add to our future breaks without skipping and give us a chance at something big depending on our square. Also, this could be busted in February since Tribute is scheduled to come out in March.

I like this idea. I'm anti-skipping, as always. We could even go buck wild and get two squares while still being able to bank $100 or so.

Alright, the 3 links above are our February options. I vote for 09 Sig Stars.

If we do end up buying 09 Sig Stars, then I will random the USA hits 1 at a time and all of the USA base as 1 big lot.

Ahhh okay. I read the promo rules 3 times and I get it now.

We could hit a Bryce Harper in Signature stars...

The product really sucks for several teams though (rays).

Still, a fun break. I like it.

True, it does suck for a lot of teams. But, like you said we could hit a Harper auto which would be randomed.

I am cool with the Signature Stars or SPX but no way to the ITG. I like this product as a minor league collector, but lets keep in mind that this is a Team Group. I personally signed up to get guys on the current / retired roster and this product just doesn't offer enough of those hits for this group.

I am good with the signature stars.

However, I would like to propose a slightly different idea with it.

In the off chance that we hit a Harper, we have Tyler list it on eBay, and utilize the proceeds towards our break balance. This would give us more $ to play with towards a higher end product maybe, or multiple cases another month.

Just an idea.

UD Signature Stars.

I know someone mentioned getting multiple boxes, is this something we're going to do? Or just stick to one box/square?

2008 SPX was horrid and the redemptions are expired. 2009 Signature Stars is very team USA heavy.

I suggest we do 2010 Topps Chrome and then throw in a couple boxes of 2011 Triple Threads.
