With ALL bowman products you are going to run into the problem where some teams may have NO autos. That's why I chose to let only the teams with no auto or color refractor hit be in the random. It's what I feel is most fair. Moving forward we can vote on how we do that.

If we are gonna break before the SB payment would have to be in BEFORE 1/31 so I can order 1/31 and have delivery 2/1.

If we break AFTER the SB then payment deadline will be 2/10.
You're the boss and doing one helluva job so I'll go with whatever you say. Just adding my 2 cents.

I personally agree to the teams without a Color ref or auto being the ones who have a shot at the random hits. ****I am the one who brought it up in the break room. BUT, I am cool with it either way.

We are in a "club", a $25 club, why not try to spread the hits out a little bit? If you are the 25th pick, 4 breaks in a row, and keep going hitless, some people might bail on the club. I just think it will help keep people happy, and more people getting hits.

Again, just my opinion.

I agree with the folks who don't get an auto or color having the shot at the random hits. Just seems to be the best way to keep the most people happy. We all have a common goal of getting a nice card or 2 out of the club, so why not try to spread that out amongst the members.

As far as the next break, I vote for before the Super Bowl.

That was my thinking. I don't want people dropping out halfway just because they don't get any autos.

Whatever is clever with me as far as to what and when we break just pm me when the money is due. I feel we should keep doing things with the random as we did for this break. I had pick 8 and got zilch....that's the way the cookie crumbles!!

Agree with the monthly randoming and the post-break randoms for USA/oddball cards amongst the people that didn't get a hit.

I was having a hard time deciding between bc and bdpp, so I did some number crunching.

In 2011 BC, 19 teams have autographs.

1 Auto Teams: 8 (LAA, HOU, STL, CHC, SEA, PHI, BOS, KC)
2 Auto Teams: 6 (TOR, MIL, NYM, SD, DET, MIN)
3 Auto Teams: 3 (LAD, WAS, PIT)
5 Auto Teams: 2 (TB, NYY)

In 2011 BDPP, 22 teams have autographs (not including AFLAC)

1 Auto Teams: 14 (LAA, HOU, OAK, STL, CLE, MIA, BAL, SD, PHI, TEX, CIN, KC, MIN, CHW)
2 Auto Teams: 7 (MIL, CHC, ARI, SF, NYM, BOX, COL)
6 Auto Teams: 1 (TB)

Anywho, hope that helps.

My vote is for 2011 BC.

I think right now we are 13 BC, 9 BDP and 3 majority votes. I am not going to vote, so that leaves 4 people left to vote. Pretty close vote

Any thoughts moving forward on 2010 BDP or is the price too high?

enjoyale81 did a nice job of breaking down the two products we are considering. Just remember, there are 19 teams with autos in '11 BC, but 22 teams with autos in BDPP. Just a thought.

I think this is worth keeping an eye on for a price drop or a roll over of money....I love the prospect list in '10 BDDP

Today is the 26th and getting closer to our potential payment due date of 1/31. Have we decided whether or not we want to break before or after the Super Bowl? What do you think, fellas? While I would love to break before then, I'm fine with either.

I was skunked in the first break, so the sooner the better

I'm down for before the SB, but we'll see what the masses decide.

Well, lets make it an official vote - it seems like 2011 BC is going to wind up winning - 14-9 by my count right now with 3 who voted to vote with the majority and only 3 left to vote.

So, please post if you want to break PRE SB [Payment deadline 1/31] or POST SB [Payment deadline 2/10].
