The Rundown

• So, I’ve used someone else’s idea and changed a little for what I at least believe to be a pretty interesting and fun idea. The Head to Head Group Break Baseball League! There will be 30 slots, 1 slot for each MLB team. There are 8 regular season breaks using the “HHBL” point system, which I’ll show a little bit later. This will determine our playoffs which will lead to our Championship Game. Each break is a random team break and there’s a random done for each break, so you don’t keep the same team throughout the breaks. After the regular season, there’s one playoff round (month 9) featuring the four highest winning records going head to head and then a Championship game with the 2 winners in the 10th month.

Finances
• $10.00 ($1 Per Month) per slot to cover bulk supplies at the beginning of the season
• $4.00 Shipping deposit. (Only actual shipping will be charged/deducted from your shipping.)
The deposit is so cards can be shipped on demand and save you the extra $0.30 PayPal fee.
• $21 per month per slot for cards and PayPal fees a total of $600 per month for product.
• An additional $2 per month per slot goes towards the Championship game.

First Month: $37.38 (including $0.38 extra Paypal fees for first month.)
Month 2-9: $23.00 (Total monthly fee minus shipping when needed.)

HHBL Point System
What the cards are worth in points

Hit Values
• Jersey hit – Single = 1pts
• Patch hit –Double = 2pts
• Auto hit (Includes manufactured patch autos) – Triple = 3pts
• Jersey/Auto – Homerun = 4pts
• Patch/Auto – Grand slam = 5pts

Serial # Values
• Anything over /100, inserts, rookies, parallels - Walk = 1 pt
• Anything between /100 to /51 – Single = 2pts
• Anything between /50 to /26 – Double = 3pts
• Anything between /25 to /11 – Triple = 4pts
• Anything between /10 to /2 – Homerun = 5pts
• 1/1 – Grand slam = 6pts

Values are added too, so if you hit a patch numbered to /99, you would get the 2pts for the patch and the 2pt for the serial numbering.

The Regular Season

• The regular season will last 8 months, month 9 will be playoffs (Everyone will still get a team,) and break 10 will be the Championship Break. The regular season runs strictly on point accumulation against your Head to Head opponent. You get all the cards from your randomized team in the break, (EDIT) Plus the four (4) highest scoring teams for the month gets to submit what products they would like busted for the next month’s break and the rest of the members will vote which wins. There will be a different randomization done for each break. Also, points from different slots won’t be combined, so if you buy 2 slots, they’ll be run as separate slots. (EDIT) The two (2) highest seed after the last regular season month (Month 8) will pick the products for the playoff round with members voting on the winner. The HHBL will need at least a 9 month commitment from participants, so we don’t have people dropping out halfway through if they fall too far behind or something of that nature. At the end of the regular season, the top 4 best records from the regular season will meet in head to head matchups in the playoffs. Which takes us to:

HHBL Playoffs

• In the playoffs, the top 4 records from the regular season will meet in head to head matchups. The #1 vs. #4 and #2 vs. #3. The 4 playoff teams will get to draft their teams for this break with #1 drafting 1st, 2 drafting 2nd and so on. The remaining 28 teams after the draft will be randomized among the remaining 28 participants. So, the playoff round will be a group break for everyone but only the 4 playoff teams have a shot at the championship matchup. The 2 winners from the head to head matchups will go on the HHBL Championship.

HHBL Championship

• By my calculations, there will be $540 (30 X $2 X 9) to spend on product for the championship. The highest seed left after the head to head playoffs round will get to pick the products for the championship break and will get to choose between drafting the AL or NL. The championship break is only between the 2 winners from the playoff round. The winner will be whoever has the most points. Of course, to the victor goes the spoils, which include:

1. All cards they hit in the Championship.
2. Their pick of one card from the loser’s hits

HHBL Tiebreakers
• To break ties to determine playoff teams and seeds (1-4) we will use the following:

1: The highest total points for the eight regular season breaks.
2: Head to Head winning percentage (against team tiebreak is being determined between.)
3: Moderator will random to determine if still tied.

The Product For Break #2:

2013 Topps Archives Baseball Hobby Box $74.95
2011 Topps Finest Baseball Hobby Box $143.95
2011 Bowman Draft Picks & Prospects Baseball Hobby Box $99.95
2010 Bowman Platinum Baseball Hobby Box $109.95
2009 Topps Unique Baseball Hobby Box $89.95

I don't think #1 is a bad choice, I just hate Gypsy Queen this year.

#2 and #3 are both good, I favored #2 myself because I think Prizm is lackluster for a group break and 2012 Tier one is way over priced.

Just my 2 cents.

Order # 216221
Moving to active.

When sending an Online Payment to the host, protect yourself by sending as goods (not gift). If a payment is sent as a "gift", you eliminate your chance of filing a claim or chargeback should the need arise. If possible, fund the payment with a credit card to be fully protected.
