2011 Playoff National Treasures - Team Draft Break - Page 4

Well, I know most of the breaks that I've seen, they do usually still give it to the person that has the majority, but from the way things sound, people prefer it be randomed them, so we will. (Since we are still doing this before the draft.) The chances of something like that happening are very slim, but could. So, we will random if it's a matter of 3 different teams, but if it's 2 teams on a 3 player card, the majority owner will get it.

Also, just to pre-address it...if we get Thorpe, it is a random. Same with anyone else not affiliated with a team. If by some weird miracle we hit the Thorpe cut...it's mine! Hahaha...kidding! (Though I would be interested in buying it.) Seriously though, that would be up to everyone. We could either buy another case by selling it on ebay...or randomize it between all 32 spots. That would be up to the people in the break. (And if we sell it, any extra money will be sent out to everyone accordingly.) Highly unlikely this will happen, but another situation I wanted to address.

Just a reminder for payments. I will try to get a PM out to everyone later tonight or sometime tomorrow. I will be out of town for a few days, but will check in from my hotel and my cell phone, so I can still be reached and the moment we are paid up (and I am at the computer) we will get the draft started!

What are the rules for the draft going to be? Any time limit on picks? will you have a default list if we dont choose? Just Curious.

Usually haven't had to enforce a time limit, not yet at least. One obvious rule is once you pick, please PM the next person. It helps things move along a little faster. My first draft I did took forever, the second was done very quickly. I'd say a max of 2 days for a pick...but if it starts to happen a lot, I would have to shorten that quite a bit or it'd take 64 days to do the draft...and that wouldn't be good. lol.

Don't really have a default list made up, but if it comes to it, I would make a pick for that person if they were not making their pick. (Again, really hoping it doesn't come to that.) After Friday, we have 2 weeks to get the draft done...if we can't get it done in that amount of time, then whoever holds us up needs a swift kick.

Going to try and send out a quick PM right now to all those I'm still waiting on.

Okay...I have everything updated on the front. There is only one person I have not heard from at all. I will see if they have been on at all. Also, I do have someone that dropped 2 spots, but has requested to get his two spots back, but did not get around to putting him on the reserve spots. I will keep in touch with the reserve spots. I'll be around most of the evening and trying to get things in order tonight!
