that would be the easiest, but there's always the same few teams that get left for auction that it seems nobody would want.

don't care whatever we choose. just rather not run into issues where people are having to take 3 teams so others can bid on a cheaper 2nd team.

True but the left over teams would fall to people that had the top spots in the start of the draft so it would not be so bad

yeah, but some people don't want to draft a 2nd team. i like the idea that they have to pay more for an auction team if they pass on a 2nd team.

however, if their min bid has to be 15, that will pretty much make sure they win that team, so it might put others off.

maybe if they win an auction team, they have to pay 15 min for the first one (or highest if they win more than one)?

Haven't thought this all the way thru still trying to wake up so it my numbers may be off,lol.

Not sure if Jiggidy or anyone else would be open to it but what if the break is opened up to 20 members. That would get us to $500 @ $25 ea. after each member drafts 1 team, the remaining 12 teams will be auctioned off @ min bid of $5 and that would get us to at least $560 if each auctioned team is won at min. bid.

we've never really had members knocking at the door for the break. 20 might be a tough number to attain.

My personal opinion is I don't really want to do the 16 members and everyone gets 2 teams. To me that would make us like all the other group breaks out there. I think the auction helps set our group apart a little bit from the other groups.

If people want to change the auction rules for members with 1 claimed team I would be in favor of limiting those members to only 1 auction team rather than 3. I think that would be a better solution rather than raising the min bid.

Your numbers are correct but you didn't factor in shipping costs, supply costs, and paypal fees. So the total would be significantly lower than $560 shipping packages to 20 people. Our current set up usually nets us around $560 - $570 after all fees and costs.

That was a question I was going to pose to you guys. Paid for the boxes yesterday. They are slated to get here tomorrow.

The soonest nights I have open to hold the break are Sunday and Monday night. Would you guys rather have a Sunday night break or a Monday night break?
