Wow, really not that impressive. "Huge", "Tight", "Stupid" and "Crazy" pulls have seemed to be pretty run of the mill. What will that bring? $200? $250? Ehhh....

Its a beautiful card.....sorry you measure beauty with dollar signs...(plus you are way off..already had offers of 470 and 515 respectively..the mantle numbering may have something to do with it....)
at least half of your username is correct..I'll let you guess which part...
now get back to your gregg jefferies and kevin maas collection wouldya

Its impressive but unfortunately he may be right about the price. Although being Mantles number you could get more.

it's quite sad when a triple bat card of 3 of the greatest to ever play the game gets such narcisistic responces as "youll only get 200 for it so therefore it sucks..."

Aron careful dude....the MODS aren't going to like the name calling.

Just ignore the comments. If you are happy with then that is all that matters!

I am not being a dick, check out closed auctions. If you think the card is so beautiful and significant, why are you selling it??? The only one seeing dollar signs is YOU. I wish you the best of luck and hope you get the $470 and $515, my pointing out how crappy it is that a triple bat of those guys goes for so little. It's not a narcissistic comment, it is a reality check and it sucks.

If he is so "Happy" with it, why is he selling it??? Geez, I can't believe my comment of it not being that big of a big deal caused such a fuss. Out of Triple Threads, that should be an EXPECTED pull. Anything less and you're not getting your money back.....

it was a joke about going on ebay...I won't sell it for a long time..wanna enjoy it...and if you were not intending to be a 'D" then accept my apologies for assuming so...
and I agree that its a sad state of the hobby when such great pieces of history do in fact sell for so little..Topps and UD has MURDERED the money factor....as far as anyone else making any other than them..the MSRP on most boxes these days is digusting compared to what you indeed do usually pull out and can sell..jordan autos gor for almost nothing now as well as ruth bats apparently...so I do agree there...the companies have murdered the hobby in the most haenous ways..

Seeing as how I'm older the age of twelve I just wanted to contribute that is a really nice card. Many of the Triple Threads cards are hideous looking but that one looks very sharp. It's also cool that it's also out of 27 (1927) as well as being #7. Nice going!

Mightbe, congratulations on being "Older the age of twelve". Not sure what that has to do with this thread. I think most TTT cards are sharp, again, my point is.....WHERE IS THE VALUE?? It is a sad, sad day when a card like that won't triple the price you paid for the pack. Everyone is so sensitive tonight. We should all throw a couple shots and call it a night!

Guys stop the name calling I will have the final say
This card is not a huge pull, it is a nice pull
Like you said, it is a $500 card, I think we pulled the same card in our case break, but it was numbered to 18 so even a better card. A huge pull would be an auto......a HUGE PULL would be a triple auto with those 3 players. As long as you like the card then its a great pull and you can name it whatever you want to, but for $180 a box, its triple what you paid for so thats pretty good.

SHUT UP ALREADY If the guy is excited about his card who are any of you to tell him its not a huge pull ? While the card does not have the market clout it once would have had, maybe its the best card he's ever pulled so TO HIM its HUGE. I know I'd be happy as hell to pull that card and I'd consider it a big pull as well. Nice pull kid ! If I were you I'd keep it for awhile but if your going to sell put it on BIN BO and hype the crap out of the fact its Mantle's jersey #. If aholes can list at card # 100/100 as a 1/1 you should go to town with the fact its # 7.

just look at MB's name, name tells it all...

I believe if someone thinks they got a nice card, there is no need to defame it...just to boast your post count to say that its not a great card is stupid....and im sure if any of us here pulled that card, we would say the same thing

ENOUGH!!! Seriously. It's a nice card that should get around $500 for it. Great pull. Don't listen to anybody that says different. If you think it's good, that's all that really matters. Everyone else saying it's good is a bonus.

Talking

This is such a typical message board thread.

Step A) Read thread starting message.
Step B) Remove brain from head.
Step C) Read thread starters response.
Step D) Skip ALL messages in between your impending "Genius" response and bash "Thread criticizer".
Step E) Hail and "Prop" thread starter.
Step F) Try to "Bash" thread criticizer, "Pull rank", make dumb accusations (Me trying to bump my post count)...(Who cares).

A "Sick", "Huge", "Mojo", Ridiculous" pull thread always catches my eye. When I see an egregious mis-use of said proclamation, I get agitated, gee, sorry. With so many pulls fallen by the wayside because they didn't put "Stupid Pull" in their title, it's a shame.

Call it "Narcissicm", call it "Egotistical", it is what it is. A marginal pull from an EXPENSIVE product.

I have been on these boards before there was "Mojo" and have seen some TRULY "Huuuuge" pulls. This, my friend, although great for you, was not that great.

This is a "Bash" directed at the card manufacturers, not you personally.

Good night and sleep well. When I was a kid....all I wanted to do in life was comment in a message board thread (Even though the internet was 10 years away from being discovered by Al Gore) and incite such a lively discussion. Mission in life is accomplished.

Now, I can go back to my Magnificent life in which I am a TOTAL bastard!

Woo-Hoo!

Mr. Bastard,

Some unsolicited advice... Sometimes it is OK to quit when your behind... or in your case when you are way off base. That card was fabulous plus it is saleable in the $500 range.
