Default 2007 Allen & Ginter not so "hot" boxes.

started into a case and after 3 boxes, pulled 4 crappy jersey/bat cards. 2 were casey kotchman.

peolpe that are paying $1200+ for these and don't get a hot case or hot box in the case are going to be very disappointed.

I have two cases and I think I'm going to break one case slowly and see how it goes and plan on selling the other case.

gotcha

anyone have any idea on how many hobby cases were produced this year. I have to assume this this years production HAS to be SIGNIFICANTLY higher than last years.

The word is about double last years. I feel for you guys. It sucks to be excited about a product, get it, open it with plans on making some cash and have it turn out to be way less than expected. You guys who have opened zero or stopped you did the right thing. It may be wise to sell this pretty quickly while the market is hot on this. If so much of this has been made once people get past this notion of opening a "hot box" or case and find out the breaks are not so great I think the prices will come back down to earth. I could be wrong but supply and demand says that it should happen that way. With so much produced I just can't see it continuing to increase in price.

This has been the most accurate assessment I have seen, or should I say the one that I agree with the most.

Sell it now and put the money in Bowman Chrome!

If you use the odds tarzanlovesjane stated in another post Bazooka Backs 1:206 packs that would put the production at just over 6200 cases.

350 players x 25 x 206 / 288 = 6258

If you have a case, I would be real hesitant to break it. I will post my debacle here soon.

It looks like a real 50/50 hit miss on the cases...not bad odds in the card world...but looks kinda like red/black roulette odds breaks....do you feel lucky????
