still trying to figure the picture thing out so i am sorry for that.

Anyway.

Local store had threads baseball on close out for a little under 50 dollars

i was lucky enough to pull a george bush jr. auto tie/shirt card #25

Then i went with a box of 2007 ultmate collection baseball box. even though it was on close out for 240 i know i still over paid but it was worth it.

pulled a sandy koufax auto #10

it is a sticker but it is very nice.

my streak of awful boxes is over for at least a week. LOL

That's unheard of - $240 is a rip - you are lucky you hit the Koufax.

You may want to sell it quickly though...Koufax was one of those celebrities that invested with Madoff...he might need the cash and start signing everything, lol.

Nice pulls too! GW1 auto/tie #'d /25. Best I could do out of a whole case of threads doesn't come close to that! Good work!

ya he had threads at 79 dollars and i bought it for around 55 with tax.

The ultimate i new was still high. But it sat on his shelf for over a year at 326 dollars.

High end products kill local shop owners

he only marks his stuff up 20-25%

and he always gets stuck with exquisite sp game used national treasures etc..

because a month after realease people can buy the stuff for 30-50% less on line.

Example he has 07 premier football at 210
07 exquisite fb at 475
07-08 sp game used at 245

i mean you can buy those products for half that. but he sticks to his price. But he has been discounting products of late.

Tough to own a store i would assume.
