Default 2 Topps Blasters - 2 Hits!

My girl talked me into cleaning the oven today while she went shopping with a friend. Being the wonderful woman she is, she brought home a reward for my good deed. She picked up a blaster of 09 Topps Series 1 and a blaster of Topps Heritage. She has great luck!

09 Topps Series 1:

Ryan Braun Black Border 31/58
Travis Snider Career Best Autograph
Ted Williams 1954 All Star Patch (1 per box)

Topps Heritage:

Mickey Mantle Flashback Relic Yankee Stadium Seat

Wow, that sounds soooo wrong, lol.

I have to hit up Target tonight so I may have to check out the Series 1 blasters. Those manufactured patches actually look pretty cool from what I've seen.

Now we know who the Topps Employee in hiding really is? Does Topps have a branch in Carmel IN?

Those are insane Blasters. As soon as I think I can duplicate any of those pulls I will be sitting in a mound of Blast Box Wrappers icing my marbles....

I can assure you that if I worked for Topps I would be posting way better stuff than this! Had I picked out a hobby box it wouldn't have been half as good as the Series 1 blaster she grabbed. The patches are 1 a box, and are really nice. I saw a Mantle patch sell for $18.50 on eBAY, almost pays for the blaster. Could be worth the gamble to buy a couple more.

Good thinking! Maybe I will clean it without being asked and remind her that I prefer football and hockey. I'm still not sure why she grabbed baseball, but I'm not complaining.

I agree... the patches are very nice and a welcome surprise. I sold a Ted Williams for $15 last month and just pulled this one the other day - http://s480.photobucket.com/albums/r...banksPATCH.jpg. After reviewing the patch list, I couldn't have asked for a better one for my PC.

As a Cubs fan, it was cool flipping through the cards in your bucket. I was "glad" to see that I wasn't the only one that got a super faded Dunston Sweet Spot auto. I pulled it and was like, wtf?

It's totally faded, but it's still one of my favorite cards. I have it parked near my 'Shawon-o-Meter'!

Funny thing... my LCS has the same card and it's faded, too.

When those blasters first came out I was selling those patches between $20-50. I ended up buying like 16 blasters for free cause of it.

anywhere from $1 to $16. there's two patches. Once people figured out that these come in the blasters the value dropped and I stopped buying the blasters.
