A fun break as always! I still love this stuff! I was able to get two complete sets. There were a nice variety of inserts....including a Jordan Schafer Platinum #/d 25 (but damaged at the bottom)

What ??? He doesn't plan to sign a thing ? And you know this how ? Big of you to "take a gamble" at a card that "won't ever be signed."

Sorry to get off track. Nice break. You can go on Donruss' web site and open a claim on the Shafer. They may not be able to replace the numbered card BUT they may offer you something nicer like an auto. Good luck.

Thanks for the comments guys. I'm gonna try sending the Schafer back and see what they'll do. Kind of a bummer because that card probably would've sold nicely on ebay with his hot start. I guess we'll see what happens.

dashouls---How do you know he won't sign? IMO it sounds like your way to convince me to sell you the card...FYI I'm not new to collecting/selling. Thanks for offering to "take a gamble" though.

In any case, I already have another member interested if I decide to sell.

Very nice threads break! I love this stuff too...the only turn off is the amount of damaged cards in these. Lots of them seem to ' peel off '...

Yep! You're right...that's exactly what happened to the bottom of the Schafer card. I had been pretty lucky as far as no damage, until this box.

but I will keep buying his redemptions anyways

Being a 17 stud in the New York media machine, I will take the chance, I suppose

If I would of known that he wasn't gonna sign I would've stopped about 30 redemption cards ago!!!

I think he will, he just has to learn English more is what I've heard.

I hope he signs, I've redeemed the card already. That was pretty much the only card that saved the break so it would be nice to get it. Is the language barrier the only reason people believe he won't sign?

i got the same comment when i pulled a flores about him not signing then a lowball offer...sucks how some people try to convince you out of a card. nice hit on the flores.
