Default Am I an idiot for buying this pack?

Yesterday, I was chatting with some of my friends on the facebook group and I posted a discussion if the 1996 Leaf Sig Series pack for $18 shipped on ebay was worth it. Some guys said no, some said only if you see the box opened, and one said def.

I ended up buying the pack , the product has a very strong checklist. The packs sold out, there were 3 left and a few other guys bought one. I am just hoping ,it isn't re sealed and rigged with a crap auto?

My friend said to check for burn marks and make sure its sealed from the top and bottom only.

Any other ways you could suggest to make sure its authentically sealed? The seller had great feedback. I do plan on recording the whole thing on video from me opening it to busting the pack.

If you did your research ahead of time (sellers feedback, etc), sit back wait for the pack and enjoy. These arent rare - but as you said have some good stuff in them. good luck!

thanks! I saw the seller sold alot of these before, so I am assuming he had unopened boxes stashed away somewhere

For buying the pack? No. For wasting the time recording it because it will not be good for anything.

If the pack looks tampered with, request a refund and send it back.

The vast majority of the cards were not big names but there are some.

I am seeing VERY few cards close for the price of the pack...not sure what the 'big' pulls are as I am not familiar with the set...
I assume A-rod Jeter etc..but don't see anything but washed up vets and no names thus far

Theres a lot of big names though. Even if I get an $8 card I won't be upset. Thats the thrill of the hobby

$18 bucks, take it and have a fun break. You could always hit someone big. I think it'll be worth it.

yep, even though the good players are SP they still have 500-1000 copies of autographs avaliable, so there is a chance for something good.

Put it this way...at least with this product, you don't have to wait 4 or 5 years to find out if the player is a bust or not .
