Nice hit on the Red Baez!!

I had the 5/5 red auto, and centering on it was BRUTAL to put it nicely, sounds like yours looks a little better.

I'll post pics here in an hour or so. It looks like my matt moore gold auto which received an 9.5 so comparing it should grade out the same. But you never know.

I think you posted this in the wrong thread. The OP is opening the entire case and there are no "case hits" in Bowman Draft.

A red /5 is more than a case hit. Not even close to guaranteed a red auto per case.

He was responding to the people telling the op to sell the rest of the case, hence the title of his post.

Well, you aren't guaranteed any type of hit in a case of Bowman Draft (other than one autograph per box so 12 autographs per case) which is why I said there are no "case hits" in Bowman Draft. The red auto is a huge hit without a doubt, but I was responding to the poster who suggested the OP had pulled the "case hit" from his first box.

Don't be such a stickler -- it's fair to say, I would imagine, that by saying "case hit" it was implied that he meant the best hit in the entire case...

Well, that's the thing about Bowman Draft. He could very well pull a superfractor, a Harper green border redemption, a Harper futures game jersey auto, a futures game jumbo patch, or a bigger colored auto hit than the red auto because, unlike other products, there are no guaranteed number of big hits (or a "case hit") in a case. I've seen cases of 2011 Bowman Draft that had both a red auto and a superfractor in the same case, and I've seen others where there was no colored autos at all.

Odds are (that's why I said fair to say) that the red auto of one of the better prospects in the product is the best hit of the case.

I agree with that and I'd be surprised if he hits something better in the remainder of the case. I just took issue with the poster who suggested the "case hit" had been pulled and that someone who sold the rest of the boxes would be a DB because of that. Bowman Draft isn't a product with a guaranteed case hit like Museum Collection, Tier One, Triple Threads, etc. With those products, I can see where someone would take issue with someone else selling boxes from a case where the "case hit" was pulled because there is no chance for the buyer of those boxes to pull the "case hit" unless Topps screwed up and inserted more than one "case hit." However, with Bowman Draft, there could very well be other big hits in that case such as superfractors, other rare colored autos, Harper green border redemptions, Harper futures game jersey autos, and futures game jumbo patches. I don't think anyone would complain if they bought some boxes of Bowman Draft and pulled one of those cards along with some base autos and refractor autos.
