10 2011 value boxes SUPER + 4 sig stars boxes Harper

I got 10 2011 value boxes and 4 signature stars boxes from blowout cards weekend sale. Did the update packs first got zip. then on to the four boxes of sig stars. First box i hit my 2nd jersey/auto of Bryce Harper in a few weeks. 4 boxes from ebay and blowout had the same Harper auto in them. Allso hit a by the letter auto of Matt Newman. On to the Bowman first 8 packs had zip 9th pack had Enny Romero SUPER FRACTOR AUTO 1/1. I saw i had a super and hopping for the Harper, still pumped to hit my 2nd super ever. last pack had blue Michael Pineda 121/150. So to all yes the 2011 value boxes do have supers in them. It toke me close to 100 boxes to hit one.

I can't stand how Romero signs his name. It seems like every auto of his, he has to murder the E, R and O. Since you see this on many of his auto's I would guess that this is from a heavy hand rather then the ink running out on the marker. Nice cards, beautiful break!

I have opened close to 500 and after I get my 116 delivered it will definitely be over 500 and no super pulled yet. But hey, a gold Harper, red ManBan, Hosmer auto plate and various base autos of Harper, Lawrie and Moore not too shabby either. But damn, through hobby and value still no super. I heard the odds on pulling a gold auto of Harper is something like 1 in 35,000 packs and I hit 2 so does that make 1 in 70,000 packs? I am way ahead of that curve. Super congrats on the super...these value boxes must have the Harper Super. Wayyy too many supers being pulled. What are the odds on a super auto pull? I will attest that value boxes have more return than hobby, especially at hobbys price point now and how my last 11 hobby boxes were missing 3 autos...not too happy bout that...Of course this opinion based on my results and the results I have read of others. I can see how people rip open 70-80 value boxes and hit bupkiss, but trust me, the next 20 will be huge. Very streaky these value boxes but the hits are huge...

Amen. Hit a bunch of autos out of these, none of the big names, but in close to 100 i've done OK. The Update sells really well in large lots too
