First off, I am a casual breaker. I don't buy into retail.

I love how Topps got people hooked on retail with all the big hits being pulled from blasters (retail) and value boxes (hobby packs in retail). People think the trend will continue to 2012 but it is Topps who will have the last laugh this time. MUAHAHAH

I'm sensing a Bowman-hype collapsing soon.

please read the first post. I already finished the break. Lots of Allen Webster auto. I do have 9 cases of jumbo coming. This is just an antipasto.

Haha, that's actually a pretty funny way to look at it.

If Panini had competition, or made a better product without the recycled designs and on-card autos, they wouldn't be wandering over here. I have had my ID for over 10 years, and love basketball, but baseball is was my first sports love.

The first step to fixing a problem is to admit that you have a problem.

I am a little depressed to see no Darvish or harper autos. That makes me sick that topps couldn't even throw one in there. This makes me not want to touch it

Definitely out of all those you'd expect to see one. W_Raoul2 pulled one the other day from some retail.

Even if you have the money, why waste it on retail you could have almost got an extra case of jumbo for that amount of money.

As a newbie, and never having bought ANY baseball cards, I actually shopped at Walmart tonight and bought my first ever 8pack box. I honestly don't even know if I hit anything. No auto though, which was what I was hoping for. For my $14 though, I had a blast opening them (less than $2 per pack seemed reasonable). If I were to get serious about these cards, I'd buy those other jumbo cards, but this was a spontaneous fun purchase.

Congrats on your hits!
