but i don't this will up and bite me, anyone who read my threads knew i wanted to really bust it, i just could not make myself, price drop fixed that!!

I remember from the old, old boards that you used to break this stuff with your wife. Does she still help you? I had my wife sorting chromes today.

You could be a little low on the # of chromes in 12 cases. In 5 cases I got anywhere between 10-15 of them for each player. Good thing is I got 14-15 each of the better ones.

Brent you may not make huge money but you are bound to pull enough big cards in 12 cases to come out ahead. I will end up breaking 12 total myself and through 7 have 2 gold autos and an orange. The golds were extras in a box that already had another auto and they were stuck together. It is about damn time I get some luck. I got my nuts stomped by Bowman Chrome even though I opened 12 cases.

You mean I am opening the same amount of cases as Brent! I feel big time! Now if I could only turn the profit you do.

yes, the 20-25 is the lots i plan on doing, not how many i got, i have no idea how many, just don't know whether 20 or 25 lots, sorry, i think i was confused or confused others

my wife helps me ship...i get packages ready, she puts labels
she is a vendor for walmart and is not around to help bust often because of work and we have 2 kids under 4, so she is with them in the evenings

she does help sort when she can at nights

next 3 cases will be listed within 1 hour (7pm central)

yes, chris told me i buy more than others on the heritage, topps, etc stuff

but on bowman chrome and bowman draft he has 20 guys busting 20+ cases

so i would be a little low, and i respect that, and maybe one day will bust 50 if i see it's worth it

but with full-time jobs and kids, and the fact that i opened 8 cases of 52 topps last weekend, 4 cases of tristar wednesday, and have 3 cases (maybe 4) of elite next week, 12 is all i thought i could do

i bought 12 because i wanted 20 or 25 player lots, then an extra lot of 10 on the chromes

i should not have gotten this

1. i went against better judgment
2. looking at the cards from first 4 cases, holy cow, i have to sort and list and ship these, ugggg, not like it's big 300-400 card sets like heritage, but rather 165 lots of base, then chrome (the single cards and ref i can handle)
3. with the products i just ripped, and elite next week, and working all day saturday (8-5), then monday thru next friday, i may get behind (bowman may get listed VERY slowly and after Christmas)
4. i will most likely lose some $
5. i don't know 99% of these guys, lol

it is fun, i do wish there were more refractors per box just for more fun, not sales, but it is fun, and if next year's is good, i may go for 30 cases, but we shall see on timing and quality of checklist

so Tim, please forgive me for buying this, other than having fun, you are right, i should not have.....

LOL == I never said you should not buy it. I only pointed out that you went against what you said. It's up to you to determine the ramifications. As for the situation you are in, I would not rush to sell asap like Heritage -- these prospects may sell BETTER in time, and if you can afford to hold, then do so.

but please know that i looked for every reason to buy this past month as you should know, and when price dropped $75 had to

no rush to sell, as you can see i have listed no cards, nor sorted...
it will take forever to list and sort, so no worries

i do appreciate the advice, and do plan to sell most after Christmas, unless they are not strong sellers, then i will keep for awhile

You're right...no hurry to list, but I wouldn't wait too long on the auto's. I did my 30 auto's all for 24 hours and they seemed to do well. I wanted to know where I stood right off the bat and what I had to fall back on.

I WILL LIST REMAINING 7 CASE RESULTS, but sadly, they were worse than first 5 cases
NO REDS all 12 cases, no supers, only 1 orange in last 7 cases, but i did get 1 dual auto (the bad one of the two however)

Sorry about the bad break Brent. I know the feeling. 12 cases of BC baseball earlier this year and not one card sold for over $200. I have to say at this point my 12 case draft break is going much better.

1. since you guys are up on this ore than me, do any of you have a recommendation as to a few players not selling well, that I should keep for later? who are the hotter ones I should sell now, as they may cool?

2. SHOULD I SELL CHROMES IN 10 CT LOTS OR 20?

3. was my break average or worse than average? i realize you get lucky or not on certain players, but once again I think ODDS BEAT ME! NO REDS??? not many oranges either...

4. does anyone have any needs or looking for certain players/autos/lots?

5. anyone like bonds? hit his gold ref and xfractor

6. SHOULD I BUY MORE TO TRY TO GET BETTER LUCK ON CASE HITS? LOL
