I feel like I did ... alright, overall. Will be interesting to see what the SSPs sell for and how they fall, my Gonzalez and Youkilis are currently the only one of each on the bay.

Takeaways: (1) Hitting a Harper auto of any kind is nice. (2) The "SPs" fall one per box. (3) I got completely owned on the black-bordered and silk collection cards. I mean just completely bent over. (4) Most importantly ... my wife had a LOT of fun and was a ton of help. She opened and sorted twice as fast as I did (partly because I like looking at the cards, lol). She even said at the end, "I think we could do more boxes next time".

Next time. Awesome.

I'd say you did slightly below average for 6 cases but not bad- sort of like the conclusion you reached.

Glad you had such a good time though! I'm here lonely by myself- no wife or kids yet, and my dog doesn't like me opening cards because I don't pay him much attention, lol. He's glaring at me right now!

Good luck next time- what will be the next product you'll be opening? I'll be opening a case or two of BC, Sterling, and Five Star. Next "major break" will be my first 5 caser- 2013 Topps.

You should make it a mission to get as many of the /50 Benoit silks as you can

I was thinking about asking about your silks but I'm going for the /2012 set so I think next year I will go for the silk set in 2013 Topps. I was trying in 2012 A&G but it got way too expensive and hard to find with the silks being /10.

An interesting concept ... didn't realize until now there are just 100 players in the "silk set". Not sure if I should sell individually or group together (except for the Benoit dupe, of course).
