Simply put, a group of 30 (usually 30 because each person gets one "team") pool their money together to open a case of cards.

Each person randomly gets a team (usually by team, but can be done other ways), and after the case is broken, every card from that team belongs to them.

So, for example if you and I were to be part of a group break of 2012 Topps Triple Threads, we'd each pay around $110. ($3,000 case and then $10 in supplies and shipping per person). If you drew the Yankees, and I drew the Rockies, you'd be in a spot to get some sweet cards, where as I would hang myself. (No old school auto possibilities or current superstar value)

Hope that helps.
Just give Adele another 30 Grammy's already.

Look through the completed group breaks section to get an idea on how it works and what kind of breaks there are. Team, player, hit, division, random, draft, etc.
Still waiting on an Odell/Landry dual auto from Topps

Maybe you can take some time to learn about the rules of football since your judgement won't be clouded by your favorite team....lagalaxyfan23
