Default 2007 Sweet Spot Classics

Yesterday I busted a box of 2007 Sweet Spot Classics in hopes of pulling a cut or pulling an immortal signature. Well I pulled a Jim Bunning jersey, Nolan Ryan jersey, and then a redemption for a mystery cut auto. This is awesome until I read that the redemption expired 8/3/09. I contacted upper deck immediately and they gave me the run around saying that the card probably wont be fulfilled. I was just wanting to ask people here on the boards what they would recommend doing? Any info will help. Thanks.

Probably not much help we'll be able to offer. I'd mail the card in with a nice note and hope they'll do something for you. Maybe is possible, have your LCS help (if thats where it was purchased) as the dealer may be able to help.

they should honor it with something equivalent or higher value. you should not get screwed for an expired redemption because a card company wanted to push the product of the press instead of waiting until everything was complete.

then again you are dealing with UD...

Yeah I asked about them honoring it at an equal value but you know UD they said well it may not be in stock so you may just get a random card with no specified bv. I guess it will be a month until I find out how bad they will screw me
