Hey guys, participated in my first ever Black Friday purchase this year.May have jumped the gun a little when buying my boxes, because I suckered myself into some 2008 Bowman Chrome (I can hear the boo's now). I really wanted to try some of the new 2012 Chrome most importantly, so I added the 2008 in there as well.
First let me start with my Box of 2012 Bowman Chrome: Noteable Base: Machado Trout (NFT) Noteable Prospect: Jorge Soler (only one of note..)(NFT) Couple of Refractors: Curtis Granderson Tommy Hanson Ian Kennedy Felix Munoz (Marlins Prospect) Yeison Hernandez (Marlins Prospect) 2 All-Star Futures Game cards: Bruce Rendon Enny Romero 1 Franchise All-stars: Elvis Andrus/Jurickson Profar (NFT) A decent Die-Cut (Legends in the Making): Felix Hernandez Only color of note: Blue Refractor Hunter Pence /250 (NFT) Blue Refractor Dan Uggla /250 (NFT) and the Auto... Kevan Smith Base Auto (NFT) So a pretty lack-luster box there. Now time for the surprise of the night. 2008 Bowman Chrome Some noteables: Votto Base RC Fukudome Base RC (NFT) Eric Chavez Refractor Dan Haren Refractor Chien-Ming Wag Refractor (NFT) Corey Hart Refractor Darwin Barney Prospect Card Johnny Cueto Base RC and a Rookie Refractor RJ Seidel Xfractor Prospect /250 (Hometown guy so NFT) No Color at all..... . . . . . . Until I hit something I would have never imagined . . . . . . . . . These things are mighty sharpe looking and very shinny: 2008 Bowman Chrome Superfractor Autograph of Bradley Suttle numbered 1/1 Now I know its probably not worth that much and he's not a big name guy by any means, but having this card in-person truly looks amazing! I definitely tip my hat to Blowout on this awsome box and my first ever one-of-one pull with an auto to boot! I will get a scan up in the AM for you to feast your eyes upon. I also don't know if I should sell it, hold it, or trade it for something nice. Any help on an estimated value would be nice, as I had trouble trying to find an accurate Ebay comparison. He is also a Yankees prospect so I figured he may draw some interest. Sorry for the long read, take care! |

Looking at his stats he looks to be out of baseball as there is nothing in 2012. Lackluster before that too. Having said that I would probably keep it. The enjoyment of looking at something like that will probably far outweigh what it will bring. Congrats on the awesome pull.

Congrats on the pull!!! If you so decide to sell it on the bay make darn sure you put Yankees in the title. That should most deffinatley help out the final sale price.
