Default Please Tell Me it Gets Better??? 2012 Bowman Platinum
Just Broke My 1st Ever Box!! Yay!! Right?

I bought two boxes of 2012 Bowman Platinum and just killed my 1st Box and these were the non base: Is this a crappy set or something? Or just a bunk box?

i would not buy it for 60 dollars a box..

Why the price is so high?

the stuff sucks honestly.......the early retail stuff was the only shot at making cash in my opinion on that.

This stuff holds no value. Why buy this instead of getting Bowman chrome or draft?

Not a very good box, but nothing out of the ordinary.

There are some decent hits in this product but value doesn't hold as well as chrome/draft. Good luck finding Harper/Trout next box...

You got the 2 autos and 1 auto/relic they promise per box. That's pretty normal I think.


The reason it's priced so high is that it has Harper, Trout, and Darvish and some of the relics have nasty patches.

I guess I was expecting more prospects. What I get for not researching better. I am new at this.

I am going to just list the box on ebay and take my lumps and try and put it to something better.

The only BP thats worth it is 2010. The others arent all that great. However, you can pull some really cool veteran autos out of them like the bruce you got. You didnt to too bad, just not great

In terms of sell value and how much he is making back he got crushed. 2012 Bowman Platinum seemed to kill almost everyone.

Well I paid whatever the black friday price was on blowout $200 for 2 boxes, and like I said, I hated the set , so I was going to list the sealed box on eBay and "take my lumps" to buy something else. Thinking $60-$70 DLVR.

Its at $91 DLVR, with three days left, so maybe I can get close to busting even. I just wasn't at all happy with the box. I mean, on my 5th base Josh Beckett and 4th Cliff Lee, I almost just flushed them all down the toilet.

I did get a Gold Pablo and Green Timmay though with incredible BV of $2 and $2.50 respectively, but I keep SF Giants for my own private stash, so none of choos come asking me for those two cards cha know?
