(3) HORRIBLE cases of 2012 BDPP
So I'm not much of a baseball guy, but I like Bowman products. I decided to go with (3) Hobby cases from Blowout.
In the 3 cases the top hits I received were: (1) Printing Plate - Kevin McKague (1) 1/1 Paper - John Kuchno (1) Orange Refractor Auto #/25 - Marcus Stroman (1) Gold Refractor Auto #/50 - Brian Johnson (1) Blue Refractor Auto #/250 - Bruce Maxwell (1) Red Refractor #/5 - Eric Wood All of those names are pretty much common players... Really? Sorry for the vent, but that is awful. People left and right are pulling more/better out of ONE case! I know that collation isn't guaranteed, but did Blowout hand me the (3) worst cases possible? I hit a few OK name autos, but only base/ref versions. Everything is going to eBay this week so I can recoup some funds for more tissues :D |
Thats really not that bad, 1/1 papers are VERY hard to get, and orange refractor autos are every 6-7 cases I believe on the odds. Only thing that sucked was getting the wrong names, That happened to me my 3 cases until the very last box.
On a side note, I would be interested in all non-autoed Chrome Color refractors if selling off ebay. |
Who were the Orange and Gold auto's of?
|
I think the issue is that most people only post when they pull their "super mojoz" hits which in turn misleads many of us on how the product truly breaks. I did 3 cases as well and hit a gold auto, a few blue autos, a paper 1/1 and thats about it. I too hit some of the better names but none of them were any better than a refractor auto.

bought 7 boxes from BO and hit 2 orange autos....guess i beat the odds, plus a gallo AFLAC
|
Looks like you beat the odds, congrats on a great break!
|
Doesn't that just prove the theory of the products being front loaded? However you can't beat a gold auto /50 & an orange auto /25 in 2 cases!
|
seems like your just not that familiar with the names/product, I don't think you did bad at all.
|
I'm not sure what names you got but from what you are telling us regarding hits your break is at worst average.
|
stop whining. you pulled a pmg green and a buyback out of the same order. you could get nothing for the rest of your life and still beat the odds...

Who were the players? Doesn't tell us anything, other than you hit some low #ed cards.

I would be happy with those 3 cases big names or not. 3 color autos plus a 1/1 you beat the odds. My case had no color autos, 2 boxes without refractors and the collation was horrible, missing 10 chrome prospects including Zunino. Wanna trade :D |

Edited for you. |
Edited for you.
Stroman actually isnt a bad orange to get, and the fact that you got a red refractor is also beating the odds. |
sorry paul :(

What is your eBay ID?
|
I'd be THRILLED to pull any one of those cards. I bet there are people out there who would love to add those cards to their collections. A 1/1 non-printing plate? Yes please!
Sorry they weren't the players you wanted/or the players you could sell for a lot of money. It happens. |

I think this is more an issue of buyers remorse. He bought 3 cases with the high hopes of a high dollar card or two....it's gambling
|
I want that stroman orange.

Kevin McKague PRinting Plate OMG MOJO SICK NASTY
