Default Local Garage Sale "HOBBY BOX" find!

Hey guys well I was off early today so me and my son went to this garage sale across the street. Long story short we came across a "Hobby Box" with tons of cards in there we quickly grabbed the people we knew and told the owner to hang onto the rest. Here is what I got.Sorry for the not so good pictures our scanner is messed up at the moment!

Albert Pujols Auto

Miguel Cabrera Auto

Cal Ripkin Jr. Auto

Roy Halladay Auto

Michael Jordan Auto

Nice haul, but I'd definitely get them authenticated before trying to sell.

Get them authenticated, as they could be fake.

You can submit them to either JSA/Beckett or PSA/DNA.

I'd probably recommend JSA/Beckett.

these are fake, one thing you should note when looking at IP auto's people typically never get the player to sign with a big fat marker, those are used by fakers so that you can't see the distinction in the sig as much to know it's fake as quickly.......

I did not pay much as it was at a garage sale thank goodness. I asked him to hang onto the rest of the cards. As he has much more auto's he said it was his dads collection I will ask Tommorow how his dad obtained these.

If you have the opportunity to get a Pujols or Jordan in person auto, why would you have them sign a .50 card and not a photo, basketball, jersey, or OMLB? Also as stated earlier, the big fat sharpies hide the errors in the fakers signature.

Nice pickups. I dunno about the Jordan, but the rest look real to me. Maybe use PSA's quick opinion service if you're not looking to sell them.

Honestly, none of them look bad to me, so I'd say leave it up the pros. Sometimes the forgeries are obvious and you can save your money, but either these are good fakes or they're real. Hoping for the latter for the OP!
