Default ANOTHER Great Topps Sterling Pull (from Blowout, of course!)

Don't get me wrong, not all my pulls are post-worthy (I've had a few $40 to $50 cards)...but this one is pretty $weet!!!

For the short-print players (1 in 54 boxes), I've received a lot more Williams than any of the others...by far! Thought I would take a chance on one...

TK,

Think I'm going to have to flip it - Clemente sold for $4,200 & Maris for $3,500. This one can't be too far off since Williams is more collectible than Maris. I'll probably open another Williams to get a nice card for my PC eventually!

It will be on e-Bay with a high BIN/BO starting tonight - probably something like $4,900ish to start. I know that seems high - but if those other 2 sold that high, shouldn't scare off the serious collectors TOO much.

I know - what a bitter feeling that has to be! Of course, I always say if I'm buying something to resell, well I can't get too upset about somebody pulling something nice. I have a tough time when I buy something to open - it sucks, then I consider unloading the rest (and there is the possibility of something really nice).

Well as long as I open a Mantle and there is an auto I will be happy. So far in the case with the 2 Mantles, I got 2 Arod autos, somebody pulled the other 2 autos, there is no 1/1 pulled yet, and I have 1 Gibson box left. If that is not autoed, I am going to crack open up those Mantles and hope that box has 5 autos!

Take my advice and don't rip any of the Mantles, just sell them all. Did you see those odds that the one board member posted... I think there are only 1 or 2 Mantle Cuts Sigs in the entire product.... Sell, Sell, Sell ... and keep them sealed! Good Luck either way though

Nice card. I clicked the auction link and read the description. At the bottom you added the text from the back of the card, and it says that it was used by Reggie Jackson. It looks like the card says Ted Williams to me. I'm sure it was just an error but you may want to change that.

Thanks for catching that! Already deleted it.

I have a bidder from Taiwan interested - over 500 feedback and 100% - ichirostore. They've purchased ALOT of the $300 to $900 Ichiro & Wang cards, and I've sold a couple items to them as well.

I would guess that the bat barrel cards are a subset of the relic cards and obviously the only auto cards are cuts.

Yea I just sold a Wang box to Taiwan for $205.50. It was lower than my first offer, but I rejected it thinking I would get atleast $250 for it. Yang is actually a good box to crack with a 80% shot at an auto which will go for $200.

Looks like blowout is going to send you a WHOLE lot of page views your way TK. It still looks like 50% of Topps Sterling boxes and mystery packs are corned by you and me in the market.
