Default 10 box UD Sig Stars, two very nice hits

I dont want to waste anyones time posting the entire break so im just showing the two big hits. I thought i may have gotten the second half of mattingly23's amazing case but it doesnt appear so. both cards are #ed to 25 any guess on value?

Not sure of the value of them but I would consider trading or selling once I figure it out. I could use some help.

the tulo quad has three players who have very little hobby love, so i would say that would sell for 40. other than lincecum, it is the same situation with the other card, which i would guess would sell for 40, so make it 80-85 value.
edit: found a completed listing for the triple auto. sold for 45 delivered:http://www.ebay.com/itm/2009-UD-SIGN...item2a25509d87

I'm really starting to regret getting back in to this hobby. I know it's a hobby, a very expensive one, but you really get killed unless you hit a superfractor of one of the top 4-5 guys. I've spent a disgusting amount of money over the last 3 years and yes I do have some awesome cards but it seems like its one let down after another. The problem s I'm a gambler and I love opening wax but I may have to reconsider busting wax and just buying some of the top prospects every year. It may not be fun but it would be much safer.

buying wax is always a crapshoot. stick to buying singles most of the time.

I'll prob hold them till next season, hopefully Lincy will turn it around. I would think the quad auto would fetch 100 but I've been way off.

no way, the problem is each card has some good stars but other than possibly Lincecum the other players only really bring in semi-star value. The only way that really these would boost in value is if the triple or quads were of players from the same team. Someone looking for Lincecum would probably rather have a Lincecum by himself than one with a Josh Johnson or also having a Dodgers player

Dude, as a pure baseball fan... those are sweet no matter what the "value" placed on them by ebay may be. If you open wax purely to make money, you will be disappointed more often than not. But... if for the love of opening packs, and the thrill of pulling big cards... I'd say you won here. Nice pulls!

I definitely don't open to make money, I rarely sell a card and have amassed a huge collection of a little bit of everything. I just like to feel that what I opened is somewhat close to what I spent. If I don't get that feeling it makes me not want to buy wax anymore but 99% of the cards I have and love I would never buy as singles. I'm probably not making much sense lol

If you part with the triple, shoot me a PM. I'd be interested in it.
