Crazy trip to Walmart
 

I was picking up some groceries at Walmart and noticed that they had 3 2010 Bowman Platinum blasters that were discounted to 11.99. I didn't buy the at first, but went back after getting some gas. When I got home, on the back of the first pack was a Mike Trout base. I thought that it was going to be all down hill from the, I was wrong. Here is the haul

Nice triple autograph and one of my cooler pulls from retail. Then I saw this peaking out of the 2nd to last pack

I usually do this, but end up pulling nothing lol. That's how they get 'cha.

Funny, I pulled the same exact two cards (Trout, and the triple) from Bowman Platinum blasters a few years back.

Traded the Trout for next to nothing, and sold the triple for like $20. Wish I still had both of them, haha.

I found a box of 2010 Platinum last year at Walmart right before the Trout hype went crazy and my lone auto was Trout! Left in the box and forgot about it until he starting selling like crazy and ended up selling it for $230! But I have also bought a lot of crap from Walmart too where I didnt get crap! Makes those nice boxes even better though!! Nice hit's OP!

I pulled the same auto from retail way back. Sold on COMC for $72. I had it priced double book and it sold on Amazon. It was in my "not ready to sell but I'll take stupid money for it" pile. :mad:

That is halarious, I may steal that and put it in my sig. I checked some other Walmarts but had no luck. They did have quite a few 2008 Bowman chrome hobby boxes though. I wasn't going to touch those, not much in there.
