Default 2013 Topps Break-Don't buy this crap product

Should stick to 2012 Donruss Elite Baseball I guess as I opened 5 retail hanger packs ($50) plus 3 HTA jumbo packs ($36) without getting one. What a waste of $86 for nothing significant. No Bryce Harper no jerseys no nothing. I guess the packsearchers got the gold cards and the Bryce Harper card. Never buy Topps Baseball again. 2013 Topps gets negative 5 stars.

Why didn't you just buy a jumbo box

My thoughts exactly. If you were willing to throw down that much on retail...why not just buy a jumbo? Sounds quite irrational to slam Topps for a decision you made knowing the odds.

That is all they had left from the box and the hits were gone because I didn't get any. I just don't want to buy a gold, jersey or auto from eBay because I actually like to pull it myself. I appreciate the card more when I pull it myself. I will never buy a Topps baseball pack again. Buy off eBay from now on.

Topps Series 1 isn't meant for big hits. It's really for those who love collecting sets.

Seems like a drunk post.

"Should stick to 2012 Donruss Elite Baseball I guess as I opened 5 retail hanger packs ($50) plus 3 HTA jumbo packs ($36) without getting one."

Without getting one what? Unlicensed card? Pre-pubescent auto?

That's fine, those of us that know what/how to bust/sell will keep busting it and make money when you buy our singles.

Low end sets aren't meant for big hits. I can guarantee you if you open 10 cases of Elite and 10 cases of Topps Series 1, you would make more money percentage wise on the Series 1 9 times out of 10, with the 1 out of 10 being becasue you pulled something monster out of the Elite that defies the odds.

Never buy retail, especially when the odds are near impossible on pulling anything. Always buy hobby if possible, and buy sealed boxes from trusted sellers.

Even an awful case of Topps 1 jumbo is a money maker when broken down properly.
It can be painstaking but its very very low risk.

As low end as it is, there are "home run" hits. I've been fortunate in the past year
Decent autos /10, pulled a Harper SP auto. 1/1 cut autos.
I've only had 2 truly dud cases of topps jumbo and still recovered

If they didn't have what you want, don't just settle for the leftovers then complain.

And you're only going to purchase things off Ebay from now on? Let us know when your luck improves.

Base Topps has always been low end but i will admit for whatever reason Topps Football has much much better hits as far as Autos. Baseball they are usually cheap little $3-$5 autos like the Chasing The Dream this year.

I wonder why they don't do MLB Draft pick autos like they do with the NFL Draft. Have 2 different colors at different pull rates.

Retail is what it is. Look at the odds. As for the Jumbo packs, it's always a hope and pray. It's not guaranteed anything will come from them. Yea there is a better chance but it happens.

Word ... sometimes retail is a good break, depends on odds, timing, and cost. Most of the time it is not.

You really need to give this one a night's rest and then look back at it. Maybe you will understand

so you are blaming Topps because the pack searchers got in before you and pulled all of the good stuff??? Thats like blaming the movie theater because you can't see a sold out movie because you showed up late

It is one of my favorite products in recent years, that and elite. Topps is for inserts and rookies and base, not hits.

Yeah this guy is really just whining... Piss and moan because you didn't hit that MONSTER Joel Hanrahan auto... With as much as Topps Series 1 gets printed the odds are way against you... On top of that you went with hanger packs of retail. You could have just bought a hobby box at 60 bucks and got your "monster" hit... Don't like gambling with retail? Buy a pack/box with gtd hits.
