That's what I was thinking. Wish the parallels were different colors on the chip itself. I would have bought them up if they were like that. Coulda made a nice new poker set

I bought a box just because it was a new product and it seemed pretty cool. I did get a full base set out of one box not counting the parallels like Gold, Silver, Glow in the Dark and Magnet Chipz. The product isn't for everyone and geared more towards the oddball collectors or collectors with kids. If you are in it for the "hits" only this isn't the product for you clearly.

You got extremely lucky, I opened 18 boxes and could only make 5 sets.......

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure. Obviously the parallels are out of question. It was a good box though I didn't get any doubles outside of the parallel inserts.

Edit- Just checked I'm only missing three but I got the three I'm missing I got those as Gold parallels so that is why I thought I did. Oh well. I did notice my "glow in the dark chipz" don't actually glow in the dark. They have some coating on it but I can be in a pitch black room and nothing happens! haha.

I got a case and I went to my local Coin Shop and bought a bunch of coin plastic binder pages(just like the 9 card pages)They fit perfectly in them!

Hey Nordy22 did you get any weird collation in your cases? I'm busting my case and 5 boxes in I have 0 Kipnis, Weeks, or Pedroia base Chipz but 5 Gold Chipz of each of those players! I can only hazard that box 6 will do the same thing to me and I will go a full case without a complete base set!

If you bought them just for the fun and not re-sale i'd use them in poker games with friends.

Yeah the only way I can get the glow in the dark effect to work is to take the coin to a dark area of the room and cup my hand over the front of it and put my other hand behind it. Then you see the neon, but on the White Sox chipz with the black background you barely notice it even then.

I had better luck getting a flashlight and shining it on the chip and taking into a dark room and it worked better although still not perfect by any means.

Great novelty product. They did this for basketball a number of years ago.
