Just wondering if anyone has a bunch of commons that they aren't really going to redeem anyways. Would be interested in trading for them just to have them. Just an example would be on their site would be just to trade a group of yours for one of mine. I think that I want to build a huge collection on there and have them all sent to me for the fun of it and then giving them to my son's boyscout troop. Let me know or just pm me????!!!!!

Or do you want a bunch of them for the contests they are holding in a couple of months to win prizes based on whats in your account?

No actually I would even be willing to do it after any and all contests are complete. It was not some kind of scam deal here I was doing something with my son in mind but screw it I forgot how many people that are into cards do it with other motives than for the joy of it. Thanks for attempting to pass judgement on someone, I have a wonderful collection and do it for the joy of it and would love to be able to get some young kids into the hobby. I still remember when I was young and collection started with some commons that someone passed down to me and then I wanted more, saving my allowances to buy that one card I really had to just have for me that was the Memphis Chicks Bo Jackson card to go with the 87 topps Bo and 88 football rookie. Wow collecting is still fun. Sorry for the rant but I felt insulted by that comment. The idea was to give 12 boys some cards from different years to have fun with. I might be weird but when I was around their age I also remember just having a common beat up 1961 topps card and I thought that was the coolest thing to have a card that old lol. Center piece of my collection. Glad that I had a man, my father in my life that just liked to see me smile, and I thought that I could bring that to these boys that may not have the father in their lives to introduce the hobby to them. Oh well, I guess that it what I was trying to get out of my suggestion so I guess I did have a hidden motive. Shame on me.

P.S. I pulled a topps Unique Deon Butler 1/1 auto reebok logo today and many great cards in the past but it still doesn't compare to the BO Jackson rookies that I still have and I also got the 1966 Mickey Mantle from this promotion and I think that is the coolest thing that I gotten in the past few years, but I also got a high number 52 Bob Cain from it too, that is just as wonderful to me. Do yourself a favor and go buy a pack of cards, the cheapest ones you can find and hand them to a kid and see if his smile doesn't make you smile a little as well, if not then you should do yourself a favor and just quit collecting. Just my opinion though. Again, sorry to all members for my rants.

Fun stuff! Got these from 8 redemptions (hopefully get more this Friday):

Dick Bertell 1961
Bob Bailey 1968
Tom Seaver 1987
Mike Schmidt 1987
Eddie Romero 1988
Ryan Klesko 1997
* 1998 (Florida Marlins Championship)
Carlos Silva 2005

Love the old stuff. The Florida Champ card only shows an asterisk on the Topps site. Is it rare? Probably not.
