I see the price of the Million Card Redemptions dropping faster than Congress' approval ratings.

Hey as long as they let you pick and choose what you want sent to you. I think for the most part I will get all of mine sent to me even the newer commons but it makes some trades seem not as good now. Anything pre-70 for sure I am going to get. I am curious as to whether these cards are going to have some special markings on them or stamping, whatever as topps website say each is a one-of-a-kind collectiable. Interesting wording IMO.

my best pulls so far are a 1953 Bob Adams and a 2002 Donald Newcombe Auto. Waiting for another wave of 50's to redeem 8 more.

Wonder what the max trade limit is. I have received 6 offers of 39 cards for my '52. Im assuming its 39. Wonder how many youngsters have traded away thier "crappy old card of some guy I never heard of" for some newer one of someone they have????? Having the OPG has really come in handy through all of this!!

I have had an offer of 84 cards for my 52 high #. I don't know if there is a limit of number of cards offered. I wish that we were able to search by member on there and maybe make multiple for multiple card trade offers. Or even counter-offers. I think that is real trading is done anyhow. A little negotating.

I just had an offer for my 52 high # -the only one on the site so far- of 13 cards from 53,54,55,56. All 13 cards equiled the value of my one card, $300 high book. I said no as I think the 52 highs are much harder to come by...what do you think? bad move.

That would be nice, you know there are people offering trades of lots of crap and holding out on their good cards, hoping to get lucky!!

Thats a tought one, if your one '52 doesnt isnt one that is going to move, it may be better to do the trade, better odds to sell.

I think that they are too (52 highs). I also noticed that most or all of the cards coming out now, even the 70s all seem to be commons. Meaning I have not seen any more big names come out, for example there have been no more Mantles hit. The site still only shows 17 of all years which it has shown for over a week now. Just my theory that even the 52s coming out now are all commons, no big names or high series, at least I haven't seen any and this goes for all years. While I won't complain about any 52 common or any 50s for that matter, it just seems like all commons. Let me know if anyone has seen any different.

Killerturtle, I think that might have been my offer. I am trying to get my hands on another 52 high number as I plan on putting together a '52 set one of these days. I have been trying to offer equal value for them. Let me know if you'd be interested in trading it... you can look through my cards... I have 990 of them

My question is if there is another period like the first few days when Series 2 comes out. Clearly they succeeded in drumming up a ton of interest for the product when they handed out a bunch of '52 high numbers and a '52 Campanella and Jackie Robinson. But that stuff has clearly dried up.

I have redeemed 1000 cards now and nothing in the last 700 was nearly as good as the first 300 ('52 Al Rosen, '52 high number, '84 Ripken, '70 Brooks Robinson, '72 Rose, etc). Also interesting is that there are several years that I have not received yet... 1953... and then 1992 and a couple of the recent years. I have not seen anything other than commons come across the front page in days.

I think I will wait on the rest of these redemptions that I have until May when series 2 comes out.

In the mean time... is there a place set up to actually talk about trade offers for these things? I need a 1953 Red Sox card... have 4 '54s to trade...

You're mistaken here. The Mets weren't even around until 1962.

Looks like they took out the "dupes" from sets so we can't tell how many of a particular card has been unlocked...sigh....

yea I noticed that too you cant tell how many of a certian card has been redemed. Makes me wonder why they would do that, I hate it when they play games like that with their customers. I emailed them about geting 45 topps 87 cards in a 60 card redemption a few weeks ago-with 9 of them being Dave Winfield-and have heard back nothing from them. I dont expect a 52 on every redemption but a little variety would be nice.
