Default 2007 Topps Sterling

Well, When I saw the leap year special that Blowout Cards had this past weekend and saw Topps Sterling at $229 a box I couldn't help myself and bought 2 boxes. I received a David Wright and a Joe DiMaggio. Thank you Blowout! Now the question. Open one or the other or both or sell? Suggestions? I'm headed out so I won't be able to possibly open till tomorrow.

Open the Wright, sell the Joe D. You will get an auto out of the Wright, not out of the Joe D. I hate how the prices sky rocketed, I wanted to get another case, but not for $2300.

I have a feeling that is going to be the majority suggestion. My problem is I'm a Yankees fan LOL! That's why I'm going to wait till tomorrow night to open so I take my time and think clearly lol. I'm assuming I should definately open the mystery packs either way?

hell open the dimaggio, if your not going to be disappointed of not getting an auto...then you'll surely have a nice triple or more piece for your yankee collection

I hear ya Matt. I'm looking at the newest Beckett and The DiMaggio's do seem to have good value compared to many other players. Gues I gotta figure am I going to be a collector or a dealer on this one. WHat do you think I can get for these boxes?

A 6 piece Dimaggio out of Topps Sterling (which includes 3 bats and 3 jersey pieces) went for $127...yet a sealed box of Dimaggio did $350...I say sell the box and buy a 6 piece if you want it lol
