I totally agree with you...the only reason I opened my 3 boxes was cause I got screwed out of an auto from Topps. Ichiro doesn't sign and I had 2 boxes of him and Dice-K...so thats 3 that don't sign, so one of my Mantles and Joe D was supposed to be an auto but they weren't and I will probably write to Topps about that but im sure they will say you got an extra Mantle instead of a Bonds and ill probably get nothing, o well just lost $400-800 opening those 3 boxes.

jacobbigshow, you mentioned in the other thread how you've kept track of sterling stuff. Are there many bat barrels that haven't been found (well, or just not sold)? What do those go for?

Well it is really hard to figure out only by stuff listed on ebay, and in the beginning these bat barrels went for a lot. But recently they haven't, and most have been accounted for, for the big players atleast. As I said I think there were 3 Mantle bat barrels found already, so there shouldn't be any left. But I have only seen 1 or 2 on ebay, so I do not know if that number is accurate. It is very tough, but this is not my site, but here is a great analysis site:

Sounds like you actually got two 1/2 cases that should have been in separate cases (and somebody else got a case with 2 Bonds, and probably something like 2 Gibsons and 2 Yastrzemskis ). Now, that case I'm sure had 6 autos to offset your "missing" auto!!

So it sounds like you opened up all 70 of the mystery packs? I may shoot you the names of a couple guys completing the white suede sets. Since those sell for so small, you may be able to get a few extra bucks through the price and saving e-bay fees.

Clement sold, Cabrera sold for a nice price......now I have an offer for $275 for the Wang.....TK is that good? I haven't seen an 8 peice Wang auto on ebay yet.

Did you open the full cases? I'm curious because I really enjoy watching the breaks of Sterling and seeing how they fall out. If you didn't open the full cases, how did you manage to only open the boxes that had the 8 piece cards? Did you weight the boxes or something?
