Thanks Jug...it was pretty good, but I was really hoping for one of the big eight or so auto'd rookies that were in here (Josh Fields, Philip Hughes, Reid Brignac, Hunter Pence, Troy Petton, Joe Kohansky)...I did pull the Jacob McGee, though.

But, I have to say, these are some of the nicest cards I have seen in a while. If I can get my scanner working again, I will add scans.

Did you "WIN" the case from Chris? Or just buy it?

Just want to know if I'm missing something good!

I actually "won" the case in an auction Chris ran last week. He has the cases in the store for $1924.99...I won this one for $1617.18. I figured, why not bust it and see. These really are pretty cool cards!!

Jughead, I am curious as to why you thought that was a good break.

I could use the Ian Kennedy cards if you still have them.

Auction? Was this on ebay or was this through the online store? This is interesting. I would like to know how often he does this and how to get in on it.

Hah Hah. Chris doesn't usually run auctions on ebay. His cases are always BIN so that's why I asked. I don't ever buy boxes or cases off ebay so I haven't looked at his ebay store in a long while.

Not to get into semantics, but I said it looked nice, not good. And that is solely because I recognized a lot of the names as people that could make it as everyday players. In terms of resale value, I am completely clueless about this set. It just seemed like a lot of nice cards.

Chris does auctions on eBay sometimes, usually on boxes. It's always a good idea to check out what he has going, because things do often end below market.

I was listening to JT the Brick last night (cannot stand him but had a rental car and nothing else was on the radio), and this guy called in to talk about the game, and JT would not even let the guy talk, saying that Appy was just doing it for the paycheck and that these games are bad for college football (a legitimate argument in and of itself only). Right.

I don't watch college football. It doesn't interest me at all. But I love comeuppance, and when I heard this score, I was happy, because I know a lot of it was dished out today.

First box yielded Pence auto and Clemens Link to the Future, cant remember what else, sure they sold for under $10.
Second Box had Pedroia auto and Hughes Dual And an Oswalt Link.
Ive been lucky. Just won one more box. I bet its a Bailey and a quad auto the way Blowout packs boxes for me
