Default Topps Sterling Box Break Club NICE RYAN!

The Nolan Ryan was from a box I bought on ebay for cheap. The Manny was from my new case from blowout....might be opening more this weekend.

Meh on the Manny (not a big fan)...
...but very cool on the Nolan. If you put that up on Ebay (as a 1/1) I bet ya $10 that one of your bidders will be SONOFRYANFAN.

I talked to TK about this and he told me that these Ryan collectors are going crazy, so I posted it as a buy it now/ best offer for $1999.99. I may end up letting it right on a bid and hope for a nice bidding war.....but with a 6 peice relic going for $280, and a 4 peice auto going for $200 it is very strange. Hopefully I can get $1,000+ on this.
And for the Manny, does anybody know what that second relic is, or that 5th one? I got that on my other 8 peice pull.....I still can't believe I pulled that Nolan Ryan off a random ebay box.

When is the Nationals? You'd have people maxing out credit cards for the Nolan. W/ a bidding war? 1K doesn't seem unattainable.

Write Topps and send them a scan to see if they can verify it. A quote from one of their e-mails cut and pasted on an Ebay listing would go a loonnngggg way.

I was pretty excited also....depending on how much I sell the card for, it might be the best card I ever have (well I doubt it will top my $1500 Ripken PSA 10 rookie). But this is defeintely the best card I ever pulled....and then 3 boxes later I pulled my first 1/1 which will also sell for close to a grand.

I am not done breaking....no pic tonight but I decided since the Tony Gwynn boxes are selling for close to nothing $90 when an auto sells for $70 that I decided to open one......I got another Jumbo swatch. I am very tempted to bust open a lot more product but I got a poker game in a hour.

Please explain ebay to me? I put this card for ebay first time up for $499.99 best offer and didn't get one offer, then started it at $169.99 and now its $423.99 for what I think has a book value of $200. Yet I can only get $650 for that jumbo swatch so far, and no offers on the 1/1, I guess once you get that 1 bid people go crazy, hopefully this guy pays.

Edit here is the auction 2007 Topps Sterling NOLAN RYAN 4 Peice Autograph WHIP - eBay (item 360067347918 end time Jul-10-08 17:19:05 PDT)

Update guy paid for it, nice!

One of the many mysteries of ebay. You might be on track with your theory once it has a bid people start flocking to it. Or unless it is some kid that hijacked mommy and daddys account
