I really hope Brett you have never made a mistake in your life.
It's his right to complain about your mistake. Just let it go, you accepted your mistake. You aren't going to do anything to make it right so take your lumps and let him vent on his thread.

how long ago was it sold to another member on here vs when the auction was listed?
either way, theres no use for name calling and griping over something you wont change
I believe; not that it makes a difference to anyone, you just leave the neg on ebay and move on. it would be nice to have that auction honored, but things happen

best of luck to everyone here

What you did, double selling a card, it was certainly stupid... Honest or malicious you can't fix it. Stop trolling your call out thread and it will lose its luster.

We have all done something stupid before. Unfortunately no matter what you did you were going to screw someone because it is 1/1. You can't be upset with him for being pissed about it. Take the negative and learn from your mistake...

What you did (if it was an honest mistake) was less douchey than what my seller did to me.

I fail to see where I have been crying or confrontational? I mentioned that I found a jerk to avoid in the future which I think is fair considering the communication you've sent me.

Not really sure why you are on the offensive against me?

I am disappointed in the outcome.

I also think I am being very reasonable.

You get no credit for simply admitting fault. What good is admitting fault if you do nothing to fix it? If McDonalds forgets your Big Mac and thinks admitting fault somehow fixes the problem, you'd be pretty upset.

If they told you that "everyone makes mistakes" and to "move on," you'd be livid.

That's what I was going to ask. When did this happen? Why don't either of you have iTrader showing this? You both gave each other feedback for a group break, but not for a rainbow?

Instead of apologizing and saying oh well. Maybe you could try to hook the guy up with an equally good deal. Stuff happens, mistakes are made but saying MY BAD is not a resolution. Everyone already knew it was your bad.

You definitely are a stand up guy for not hiding the fact that you messed up but try to take care of the dude.

Just my thoughts...for what they are worth.

I think he tried, and offered to send him free cards. How do you truly make it up to someone when you killed their chance at buying a true 1/1?

For the record he did not offer me anything. I still have all of the e-mails.

I do not even want anything, and I am not that upset... Just annoyed by this dude OBVIOUSLY screwing me over.

I should be checking the mail daily for my 1st SuperFractor, instead I get to be on here listening to this dude act like I am freaking out.

He screwed me over and was a huge jerk about it while doing so. I simply wanted to bring it up, and possibly sell a Carlos Lee relic?

Sorry, he had claimed that he offered to send you a card from your favorite team, which seems trivial given the problem. We haven't seen the conversation between the two of you to know if he is telling the truth.

You don't just forget you have a Superfractor on eBay. My money says you went with the best outcome. Big mistake. Whether or not he should move on is irrelevant. The fact is we all have learned who to avoid here.

Your only admitting fault to try to cover your but because you know half the people here have just made sure they don't ever deal with you now. Your not manning up. Manning up would be compensating for the problem.

I bet if the OP thought about it he could come up with 100 cards he would rather have than a 5th year superfractor. But based on the way cmPUNK (ironic name considering the situation by the way) it doesn't look like he even tried. So our argument is moot.

Uh actually I did offer you free cards check the case
copied and pasted from the case details
eBay Oct-09-12 at 16:19:30 PDT
This case is closed. The buyer has declined the seller's request to cancel this transaction.
thebrett321 Oct-09-12 at 16:19:29 PDT
I am a member of another site where this seller was attempting to sell these for more. I believe he
did not get the price he wanted so he is attempting to cancel. This seems like fraud to me.
eBay Oct-09-12 at 14:50:42 PDT
This case has been opened by the seller with the following reason: I sold item to another buyer.
Additional information provided by the seller: I am truly sorry, I can possibly ship you a card from your favorite team for the inconvenience.

You offered me something on the dispute thread after I accused you of fraud?

I genuinely don't care anymore. I feel you have shown yourself to be a shady dealer, and I am comfortable just having the information that I never want to deal with you again.

This whole situation was your fault, good day sir.

LOL Someone has their feathers ruffled, CM that is a big no no, like anything you are selling, have to keep track of your inventory, what if you sold it on ebay and then sold it to someone on here, would it have been a oops my bad then.. Lesson learned, keep better track of your items, good luck on midterms.. Sucks other dude missed out on a sweet card..
